Interior Architecture

The interior of the home was opened up to allow a free flow of views and delta breezes.

From the living room to the backyard -- existing openings between rooms inspired a through view remodel that ties all the main floor together. Double wall pocket doors were fully restored with new and salvaged doors, to allow segregation of rooms as necessary. Note the classic foursquare feature of the foyer to the right, with stairway going up. Light fixtures are vintage reproductions of gas/electric style, a typical feature in a 1903 home -the (abandoned) gas lines were still in the ceilings!
