Interior Architecture

The interior of the home was opened up to allow a free flow of views and delta breezes.

A pocket door drawn closed. This was the only remaining original pocket door, found sealed inside the wall with some fire damage from a previous fire. The mantle to the fireplace is still missing - another project for another day... The black rectangle on the floor is a cast iron cover to a return air grill - the forced air system was designed to take advantage if the fireplace ever gets restored to functioning again. Note the coved ceilings and how they "meld" the wall to the ceiling above the picture molding.
