Exterior Home Facelift
A 1903 foursquare that was deemed worthy of tearing down by some when it was purchased in 1989 has been given a new lease on life.
The front steps at one time were so rotten they were dismantled with bare hands. This also became a temporary ramp down to allow digging out the basement. The original heart redwood siding was left stripped, oiled and exposed at the cut-in porch area. The pedestal/newels above at the porch are original, the ones at the base of the stairs are new.
