Interior Architecture
The interior of the home was opened up to allow a free flow of views and delta breezes.
The original white oak quarter sawn floors -- characterized by the "tiger stripes" of rays perpendicular to the grain -- with mahogany borders was carefully refinished, patched where badly worn and matched up perfectly with the salvaged material used in the kitchen. The bi-swinging heart redwood pivot door is from the kitchen to the dining room.
