Basement Remodel

What was once a glorified crawl space with a dirt floor is now an in-law apartment, with its own entrance, kitchen, bath and laundry. It is currently used as a game room and place to watch movies.

Looking down the basement steps from the kitchen, the long railing is another salvage part from the 1871 farmhouse aforementioned that was destroyed by fire. Wall sconce light fixtures here, in the foyer, and upstairs all came from an estate sale across the street.
