Kitchen

A new dream kitchen is born out of a disjointed series of odd shaped rooms and badly worn surfaces.

The brackets holding up the peninsula counter can be seen as you come up the basement steps. They were made from salvaged vertical grain douglas fir stair treads. The redwood wainscote was also salvaged from old soffit material from the old back service porch ceiling. The design motif of the brackets is inspired from bracket elements that support a box bay feature on the exterior of the home.
